The Nature and Objective of the Center for Advanced Legal Studies

The Center for Advanced Legal Studies is a non-governmental, non-profit, educational and research organization, an association of lawyers, sociologists, economists and historians, established on 3 July 1998 at the initiative of a group of professors of the Faculty of Law, Belgrade University.
The basic purpose of the Center is to contribute with its programmes, projects and overall public activities to the promotion and practical implementation of ideas concerning the rule of law, a modern market economy and an open and democratic society. In view of that, the Center strives to:

Associates

The Centre for Advanced Legal Studies cooperates with Yugoslav top experts. In most cases they are lecturers and research assistants of numerous faculties and institutes, as well as experts practitioners from different fields. Foreign experts are welcome when it is impossible to find local experts of specific profiles. The basic criterion for the selection of research assistants is professionalism and the scientific quality of their works.
